I have had my work building with LEGO bricks featured in many places and reaching many audiences. This is a piece I put together for an issue of Canadian Business Magazine, which is not only the premiere magazine for Canadian business professionals, but also the longest-publishing business magazine in Canada.
The request was to build a mid-century modern piece of architecture, and the project required a tight-turnaround of less than 48 hours. Never one to back away from a challenge, I designed and built a series of models, consulting with my client along the way to ensure that I was capturing the right aesthetic and mood for the end product.
With the helpful photographic skills of Adrian Armstrong Photography, we were able to capture the building beautifully, as well as create a time lapse video of the building springing to life from the ground.
This project was a big success for the client, and was also very creatively rewarding, as it pushed me to explore an architectural style that I typically shy away from when building.
